snappy is changing slightly...

after loads & loads & loads of thought, snappysausage is undergoing a slight change, a name change, a slightly changed look, lots of changes, but yes, a change is good right?! so, just for now, the lil shoppy is pretty bare, but you can still get goodies from bonbi forest & some other places too! so don't worry!

it's a bit weird saying bye to the snappy-ness, but it definately won't be forever! the new name & feel is more what we're about now I feel, something a little bit different, a different feel.

it's been a little while

since my last ramblings, but quite a bit has happened since then! there's a new addition to the snappy empire, in the form of pickles kitten...

here she is in a weird polaroid style application I downloaded. she looks slightly boss eyed, but it's particularly hard to get a flattering photograph of a speed of light kitten while she is; darting under the sofa/tv cabinet/bed (refusing to come out) or while she is walking over your face in the morning/getting into bed propper human style for a morning cuddle. or wailing outside the bedroom door at 5 am. oh yeah, or sitting on a laptop/batting me/the carpet/tinkly mouse/anything. so yeah, it's pretty difficult to get anything actually done around here at the mo, apart from between about 11-2 when we watch daytime tv together & cuddle (she does, I take the opportunity to actually do something constructive!

i've been working on a brand new website this week. here it is... i'm trying to swap my old domain over to this new site which has been rather difficult & still not there, but hey, whats 24-72 hours to wait to see if it's miraculously worked eh?

i've also been sorting 2 more suppliers, one here & another one in the US, yay! spreading the snappy love!

were at the delapre abbey st george's day craft fair this sunday! the lovely FoDA ladies have been working hard to make it an excellent day, so if you're around northampton please pop along! they have all kinds of exciting things going on, welly wanging, tug of war & a bar just some of them!! it's free to get in there are lots of stalls, face painting & demos, lovely things to buy like chutneys, paintings, cards etc etc & it's free to get in, yay!

i love cute earrings

here are a few of my favourite fused glass earrings i have been making recently, they're so perfect & smooth, i love them! there's also a set (at the bottom) made from buttons i scrabbled around for in my (now extensive!) button box. they remind me of something a granny would wear.... perhaps that's why i like them so much!

a few new things for spring...

been making loads more button rings & more cute little owly earrings & also some mega large button brooches. it never seems light enough to get any good photos, but will have a good go this weekend & hopefully...

buttony buttony buttony button

these little beauties, i think is the start of a happy new relationship between me & buttons. i made a massive supply of buttony rings & magnets with the ebay barganicious 25p buttons. they are distinctly creamy, naturaly toned, i really like the way the creams work with the whites & contrast with the blacks. i really enjoyed making these, it made me really happy to stack them together in matching & contrasting colours, hours of fun in buttony heaven!

make sure you treat your sweetheart in plenty of time for it to get there! the last day to order to make sure they arrive by the 14th is 10th february for the UK & 7th february for overseas orders. oh yeah, and shipping for out little heart earrings is ABSOLUTELY FREEEE!

i should probably say a little bit about all the snow, but instead i'll talk about my ebay button spectacular... for an amazing 25p, yes twofive, i've bought what seems like a million old buttons, not sure what to do with them, but can never have enough old buttons i guess. ahem. also bought lots of little mugs & cute little egg cups this morning, going to be doing some printing onto them, if it works, hopefully it will, as ihave some extra special designs lined up for them! i love egg cups, they're so cute.

these little guys are made with the fabric we brought back from japan. i love the fabric loads & was difficult deciding what to use it for! measuring nearly 3cm round, they're so cute, i've got my eye on lil barry, therefore he may not even make it into the shop...well until i buy more supplies that is!

also this week, poor little lulu had an operation of the, ahem, sensitive nature. she's feeling loads better now & loving her everyone again now though. off to visit her this weekend as shes at my mum&dads at the min... as shes a local at her usual vets just recently!

these little cuties were a MEGA success at clutter city this weekend, we were super busy! so i've popped em into our shop & etsy shop too! they're teenyily, tinily cute & as good ol valentines day is coming soooon, until the day, they're £1.50 & have FREE POSTAGE too! woop, what more excuse do you need to get all loved up?!

the lovely bettyjoy online boutique is set to close in april, which is such a shame, a sign of the times that all crafters are feeling i guess, but a sad one.
